FCI Marianna is also known as Marianna Federal Correctional Institute is a Medium security male federal prison with an adjacent Women’s Minimum Security Federal Prison Camp located at 3625 FCI Road in Marianna, Florida. The facility is operated by the Southeast Region of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), a division of the U.S. Department of Justice. FCI Marianna houses 1200 male federal inmates with the minimum camp holding 211 women inmates sentenced and charged with Federal Crimes in U.S. District Court.

Housing: FPC Marianna is a Minimum Security Satellite Camp. Inmates are housed in dormitory-style 2 person bunk beds as well as 4 and 8 person cubicles. Storage space in most units consists of an individual locker. Locks may be purchased in the institution commissary. The amount of personal property allowed is limited to those items, which can be safely placed in the space designated.

Religion: FPC Marianna provides services and programs to Christian, Jewish, and Muslim inmates.
FCI-FPC Marianna federal prison religious services department has a Catholic chaplain, Jewish Rabbi, and Muslim Imam to provide to religious of inmates. Volunteers from the city of Marianna help orchestrate services for other religious groups. Inmates can wear religious items, and the facilities observe different holy days and also accommodate to any dietary restrictions for various faiths.

Medical: FPC Marianna has a full-time medical staff on hand and/or contract medical workers from nearby cities. FPC Marianna provides care for inmates who may experience any medical emergencies. In the event institution staff is unable to care for an inmate’s medical needs, inmates may be sent to the Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Fl. for medical care.

FCI-FPC Marianna Federal Prison Education
Education: FPC Marianna inmates without a high school diploma or General Educational Development Credential (GED) must attend the BOP Inmate Literacy Program to obtain their GED. FPC Marianna inmates who are non-English speaking must take the (ESL) English As A Second Language Inmate Program. The education department offers classes in corporate law, Spanish, small business and political science and college correspondent courses.

Traveling 231 North from Panama City, travel north on Hwy 231.Option 1): You can take the Panama City cut-off by taking Hwy 167 (a little blue sign on the right) that is right at the county line. This will dead-end into Hwy. 267 turn right. This road will end into Hwy 90. Auto clinic is on the left, Chevron gas on the right. Turn right. Travel East until you get to Jefferson Street. There will be a BIG Florida Caverns State Park sign. Turn left. Travel past Florida Caverns State Park and follow the signs to the Federal Correctional Institution. Option 2): Travel north on Hwy. 231 until you reach Hwy 90. Turn right. Travel to Marianna until you reach a big Florida Caverns State Park sign. Turn left. Travel past the caverns and follow the signs to the FPC.

Visiting is conducted at the Camp on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and Federal Holidays from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Federal holidays are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. These hours are subject to change based on the institution needs.

Inmates are not allowed to receive packages from home without prior written approval from the inmate’s unit team or authorized staff member at the institution. The only packages an inmate may receive from home are those containing release clothing and authorized medical devices. However, inmates may receive magazines, hard and paperback books directly from the publisher.
